Live, Phresh, Bibio

For avid fans of Bibio; this requires a bit of patience as he takes his time to form disparate sounds into percussive oddities. Musically, this is right on point with what I expect from a live Bibio performance, though the visual aspect in entirely lacking. Perhaps I’m just spoiled from having seen Pretty Lights recently. After listening to his records, one might wonder how he could achieve a deeper abstraction. He doesn’t disappoint. Give this

a full listen; you’ll be glad you did. Put this to know what computers know, on mushrooms.

Dance Hall Dose 2

This week’s Dance Hall Dose takes a different direction, one that I plan to continue. It is a post-game soundtrack. There’s plenty of high energy dance music available on a Saturday night, so it’s my goal to provide you something that’s not. Here’s a 7 song collection of glitchy/triphop/chillout tunes for letting your brain rest after you’ve pumped fresh drinks and phresher beats into that dome piece. Put this on to unwind from the night with good friends and silent grins; a job well done, you party pioneer.
